Superior is the first chapter of the manga, and the first chapter of the first part of the series.
Introduction[]
The demon queen who subdued enormous and powerful monsters, slaughtered over half of the world population. Surviving members of the human race elected a hero to slay the demon queen, beseeching release from her oppressive rule.
Overview[]
While looking for a Baron in a castle to settle matters, the Demon Queen Sheila and her faithful adviser Kagami encounter the Hero by chance. Waiting for an opening and becoming interested in his principles, Sheila hides her identity and pretends to be a meek monster to get close to the Hero, and joins him in his quest. However, she soon realizes that she has fallen in love with him, and hence their journey begins.
Summary[]
As Kagami and Sheila are looking for the Baron of the Castle, Sheila spots the Hero from an afar. Kagami is immediatly incensed, but Sheila stops him and tells him she wants to play a bit with him before he kills him. Urging her not to be careless when confronting the Hero, Kagami comes up with a plan: Sheila will prentend to be a weak monster and that she had fallen in love with the Hero, to get close to the latter; that way she could kill him as soon as she spotted an opening. With that in mind, Sheila went to look for him, but in the way she met with a dragon. Just as she was about to dispose of it, the Hero appeared and blocked the dragon's attack,
